Family appointments
Doctor visits for a parent, school meetings, contractor quotes: keep what was said, and share it.

The problem
At a doctor's appointment with an elderly parent, a lot of information comes at once, and later no one remembers the exact dose or the next step. The same happens in school meetings, or when a contractor explains a quote at the kitchen table.
How it works
- Before you start, ask everyone present, including the doctor, teacher or contractor, whether you may record.
- If they agree, press once and lay the recorder on the table; the light shows it is on.
- The app transcribes and drafts a short summary: what was said, what to do next and any dates.
- Check the points against the time stamps and share the summary with family members who couldn't be there.
An example
Felix goes with his father, Karl, to a cardiology appointment. Karl and the doctor both agree to the recording. Afterwards, the summary shows the change in medication and the date of the next check-up, each with its time stamp. Felix shares it with his sister, Lea, who lives abroad.
What you get
- The dose and the next step, in writing
- Family kept in the loop
- Quotes and promises you can check later
Consent and privacy
Always ask before you record; the doctor, teacher or contractor may say no, and that is their right. A recording from a doctor's visit contains health data, so share it only with people your parent agrees to. With Starter, recordings stay on your phone.
