Interviews and research
Exact quotes with time stamps, consent stored with every recording, and search across all your interviews.

The problem
Journalists and researchers need the exact words, not a paraphrase. Transcribing an interview by hand takes far longer than the interview itself, and finding one quote across dozens of recordings means listening again.
How it works
- Explain what the recording is for and save the interviewee's consent with it.
- Lay the recorder between you, or snap it to your phone for a phone interview where that is legal and agreed.
- The app transcribes in the EU and drafts a summary with the interview template; every quote links to its time stamp.
- Search across all your interviews, check quotes against the audio and export transcripts for your analysis.
An example
Lena is writing a feature on how small farms cope with dry summers and talks to six farmers in two weeks. Each of them agrees on the consent card before she starts. When she writes the piece, she searches for “water” across all six transcripts and checks every quote against the audio before it goes in.
What you get
- Quotes you can check word for word
- Consent stored with every interview
- One search across all recordings
Consent and privacy
Tell people what the recording is for, who will hear it and how long you keep it; research projects often need a signed consent form as well. Protect your sources and delete recordings you no longer need. Processing stays in the EU.
