Lectures
A full transcript to search later and a summary per session, with the lecturer's consent.

The problem
In a lecture you can listen or write, and a fast speaker makes you choose. Before the exam, your notes have gaps exactly where it got difficult.
How it works
- Ask the lecturer before the session, ideally once for the whole course.
- Place the recorder at the front of your desk and press once. It records on its own storage, even if your phone is in your bag.
- After the lecture, the app transcribes it and drafts a summary of the main points, each linked to its time stamp.
- Before the exam, search the transcript for a term and listen to the explanation again.
An example
Malik studies engineering and, in the first week, asks his statistics professor whether he may record the lectures for his own revision. She agrees, as long as the recordings are not shared. Before the exam, Malik searches for “confidence interval” and replays the ten minutes where she worked through an example.
What you get
- No gaps where it got difficult
- A summary for every session
- Free with the Starter plan
Consent and privacy
Ask the lecturer first; many universities have their own rules on recording. Questions from other students end up in the recording too, so keep it for your own study and don't share it without permission. With Starter, recordings stay on your phone.
